Clothing sewing, repairing, and transforming workshop with Anna-Krisztina Máthé
The exploitative and polluting nature of the fashion industry cannot be disputed. In the interests of sustainability and reducing textile waste, it is time to make changes in our own homes and lives.
I invite participants to an experience where they can learn how to repair or reuse their old clothes, learn about sewing machines and simple hand sewing techniques. In a two-day workshop with the slogan “Shout it Out – Tell Your Struggle” you’ll have the opportunity to tell your message to the world, make banners from textile waste using patchwork techniques, label your old t-shirts and clothes.
