Noémi Szántusz was born in Szeged, Hungary. She studied at the Kelemen László Theatre Centre, in parallel with the course of Italian Romance Studies at the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Szeged, and later obtained her acting diploma at the “Nemes Nagy Ágnes” Acting School. After that, she was admitted to the acting class of the Faculty of Theatre and Film of Babeș–Bolyai University in Cluj, under the supervision of József Bíró.
Her previous works can be mostly approached with the keywords autobiography, self-representation and performativity, but she is also interested in theatre works in public spaces, and research with young people and civilians.
