We are trying to answer the question: what do we feel when we look at the statues and monuments of the city? Which events from our past do we deem important to remember and which are the ones that we do not? What significance do these events hold for us today?

This walk is a dialogue, an essay, a remembrance, a fiction, a work of art. This walk looks at squares, buildings, memorial plaques, and statues with the eyes of a stranger. This walk takes you to memorial plaques and monuments that do not exist anymore or that do not exist yet. This walk is incomplete. This walk takes an hour and a half, so put some comfortable shoes on.

Duration: ca. 90 min

Dates: 13 October 2023, with starting times between 14:00-17:55 and 14 October 2023, with starting times between 10:00-13:55, according to your reservation

Language: Hungarian, Romanian or English, based on your choice

Location: We will meet at ZIZ – Art and Social Area (5 Paris Street). We will be waiting for you there in an hour and a half if you need to return the equipment you borrowed.

Conditions of participation: Visitors can take the walk themselves on the days and times they book, with their own smartphone or with equipment they can borrow. If you want to walk with someone, you can add a friend when choosing the date and time of the walk. To hire walking equipment, invite a friend to join the walk, and choose a start time, please register using the link provided. The walk lasts approximately 90 minutes, so make sure you have time to complete the walk at the time you book.
